Florence Millet performs with orchestra, in recitals and ensembles in venues across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Her voice and playing can be heard in radio presentations on France Musique, WDR, NDR, Deutschlandfunk, RTBF or in lecture recitals. Her recordings for the labels Labels Centaur, SONY/Pianovox, Wergo, Accord, AvI/Deutsche Grammophon, Bastille, Erato, Triton, Hortus, CPO, ARS are praised on both sides of the Atlantic. She is artistic adviser for the Lichterfeld Foundation, promoting intercultural understanding and propagate music from persecuted composers. As a founding member of the Lions Gate Trio since 1988 she created the « Ode to Joy » Festival in 2014 presenting complete chamber music by Schubert, Fauré, Beethoven, Dvorak or Brahms. She worked closely with composers Elliott Carter, Hans Werner Henze, Luciano Berio, Johannes Schöllhorn, Philippe Manoury, Jörg Widmann, Steve Reich, Henri Dutilleux, Hans Abrahamsen, George Crumb und Tristan Murail. She is artistic adviser for the Lichterfeld Foundation, promoting intercultural understanding and propagating lost masterpieces from persecuted composers.
