A multi-faceted artist, Victoria was immersed in music from an early age, particularly by her mother, Rena Shereshevskaya, who trained her as a pianist. Born in Moscow and living in France since the age of 10, she obtained all her diplomas at the Conservatoire de Colmar in her mother’s class, then at the CNSMD de Lyon in 2005. During her training, she received advice from François-René Duchable, Brigitte Engerer, Vladimir Krainev and Véra Gornostaeva.
Victoria performs regularly in Europe, Russia, USA and Japan, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician, which she particularly enjoys, in the company of musicians such as Henri Demarquette, Alexandra Soumm, Marco Rizzi, Kaeko Mukoyama… and with orchestras conducted by Youri Bashmet, Christophe Poiget… She has been a guest at various festivals, including Festival International de Colmar, Festival Radio France de Montpellier, Festival de Saint Ursanne, Nancyphonies de Nancy, Festival de Porrentruy, Musicales d’Enghien, Festival de Barfleur…
Passionate about transmission, different pedagogical approaches and working with children in particular, she began teaching at a very early age and soon obtained all the highest state pedagogical diplomas. She has taught at the conservatories of Chantilly, Yerres and Brunoy, at the Conservatoire de Puteaux, and at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris-A.Cortot between 2009 and 2020.
For 8 years, she gave masterclasses at the Academie des Cimes in Val d’Isère, as well as at the Académies du Grand Nancy in Nancy and du Grand Paris in Vincennes.
In 2021, she joins the Geneva Conservatory of Music (CMG).
In demand in the film industry as a coach and understudy for piano scenes, she has worked for producer Louis Becker and coached Chantal Lauby, Judith David, Edith Scob and Anne Sophie Lapix.
Keenly interested in all the bodywork that is so essential for an instrumentalist, she trained for ten years with Belgian posturologist, fasciatherapist and stage designer Anne Englebert, emphasizing in her teaching an awareness of body and space in the physical work of the instrument, as well as in the scenic, artistic and emotional approach. She has also trained in Yoga and Qi Gong with Davina Delor.
With a keen interest in the music of our time, Victoria collaborates with various composers, notably G. Connesson and E. Tanguy, with whom she has had the opportunity to work. Connesson and E. Bobylev.
Alongside her activities as pianist and teacher, Victoria is also a lyric singer and has just recorded her first disc for the Klarthe label, released in January 2023, with Alexandra Soumm (violin), Rémi Geniet (piano) and Yan Levionnois (cello).
